Geoffrey Hinton, considered the inventor of artificial intelligence or artificial intelligence (AI), warned the world about the rise of his own technology.
Prominent computer scientist Jeffrey Hinton quit his job at search engine Google and apologized for his research on artificial intelligence, calling it dangerous.
Speaking to the media, Geoffrey Hinton said that artificial intelligence technology is much more dangerous than human estimation, it is not very intelligent yet but in the future it may be more intelligent than human, we need to worry about it.
"I regret my work in the field of AI, but if I had not worked on this technology, someone else would have," he said.
Geoffrey Hinton worked at Google for more than a decade, but left the job to spread awareness about protecting the world from the dangers of AI.
On the other hand, Google also fired software engineer Blake Lemoine. He had expressed his concerns on AI. Black Lemoine said that the said technology is very sensitive.
