According to WhatsApp, once the chat lock option is turned on, you have to authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID on the iPhone to unlock it. Users can use the chat information section or open the chats by going to a new option Locked chats.
Once the chat is locked, the tracker will hide the names of the user who sent the message and the user who received it, while the photos and videos will not be automatically saved in the gallery.

According to the WhatsApp beta info, the voice transcription feature will be installed on the iOS device, while it will not be installed on the servers of WhatsApp, under which the voice messages between users will be protected under end-to-end encryption.
The app will also introduce a language pack through which the voice note can be transcribed in different languages, through this feature the message written from the voice note can also be searched.
